Julie Meehan

Hi! I’m Julie Meehan and I look forward to working with you! I joined Leonard Adams in June 2008 as an entry level assistant in the Commercial Lines Department. I eventually found my way over to the Personal Lines Department and became Department manager in April 2011. I really enjoyed working day to day with our Personal Lines customers and helping them navigate the available insurance options for them. Somehow I always found the time to help with IT, HR, Training, Accounting and just about whatever else was needed! I am very fortunate to currently have the role as Vice President of Operations here at Leonard Adams. I really enjoy working with our team, our carrier partners and our vendors on a daily basis.
I graduated with a BA Degree from Boston University and even though I am a native New Englander, I do not miss the cold winters! My family has lived in Portland since 2000 and we enjoy the community tremendously. I have two young adult sons that are working on navigating their own way into the world, I am tremendously proud of their accomplishments! Many weekends you can find me at a group run, out in the woods, paddle boarding or enjoying local food & beer scene the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
